March 11, Dinner. Salad with lettuce from Jan's garden.

March 12, Breakfast. The usual.

March 12, snack. Some pistachios.

March 12, lunch. At El Saage, the meat plate is very tasty. They have good garlic sauce, although it could be even more dangerous and I'd still like it.

March 12, dinner. Salad, with lettuce from Jan's garden and other miscellaneous sausage and cheeses. Probably some of Rose's olives as well.

March 13, breakfast. The usual.

March 13, lunch. Two fish tacos from Nico's.

March 14, breakfast. The usual.

March 14, snack. Some pistachios and a scribble.

March 14, lunch. Went to Mina's Thai and it has gone downhill in a major way. Very disappointing. I won't go there again.

March 14, snack. Some sausage.

March 14, dinner. Ethiopia again!

March 15, breakfast. The usual.

March 15, late lunch. A couple of fish tacos from Nico's

March 15, Dinner. We went to Vin Tabla, a "tapas" restaurant that's relatively new. Lots of courses, almost all of which were great. The bread... well, not bad.

March 15, dinner. Vin Tabla, Oysters. A dozen to share. Very well done, and no silliness on them. Briney, the way I like them.

March 15, dinner. Assorted meats, cheeses, and vegetables on an antipasto plate.

March 15, dinner. A "pizzetta" with duck breast and sour cherries. An outstanding combination. A tiny bit too greasy.

March 15, dinner. Vin Tabla special, whole fried fish. Very tasy. This was something out of the grouper family.

March 15, dinner. Vin Tabla. The only disappointing thing on the card. We ordered spinach with gorgonzola instead of feta. They brought feta: it was bad. Then they brought gorgonzola: still bad.

March 16, breakfast. The usual.

March 16, lunch. A frittata with some miscellaneous stuff in it. A cold windy day: salads just wouldn't have been right.

March 16, dinner. Jan's posole. Really really good. Home-made

March 16, dinner. A bottle of Aida for dessert.

March 16, dessert. Some ice cream, and a chocolate.

March 17, Breakfast. The usual.

March 17, lunch. Flying Tucson to Washington, I had one of these vile little granola bars

March 17, dinner. Georgia Brown's restaurant, Washington DC. These were catfish fillets.

March 17, dinner. Deep-fried chicken livers. Very tasty.

March 17, dinner. Gumbo!
