April 27, dinner. Salad course at Rosemary's Restaurant. Some grilled eggplant which were divine, arugula with pesto (good), wonderful mozarella, and prosciutto. Oustanding in every way.

April 27, dinner. Sine qua non (one of the four wines we had). Rosemary's Restaurant. On Sundays, all wine is half price. Woo hoo!

April 27, dinner, Rosemary's Restaurant. Pork chop. Outstanding.

April 27, dessert. Rosemary's Restaurant. A selection of petit fours, including chocolate, lemon bar, and peanut butter (!). Again, really good.

April 28, lunch. Two slices of pizza in the volunteer lounge during NAC Day. Too strung out from teaching to remember how they were.

April 28, lunch. A brownie.

April 28, dinner. In-n-Out Burger and Fries in the Green Room trying to get our act together for the next morning.

April 28, dessert. Another Fast Break bar. Frozen. Very good when frozen. Not so good when room temperature.

April 29, breakfast. A capuccino from Chocolate Swan. They sell Peet's coffee, but they really don't care as much about the coffee as they should. Automatic machine. I guess what one would expect.

April 29, snack. More chocolate covered nuts.

April 29, lunch. Some cheez-it crackers.

April 29, snack. Some pretzels.

April 29, appetizer. At Fleur de Ly (Mandalay Bay), an oyster with something on it. Looks like caviar. Needed to use flash. Didn't. Cisco Analyst meeting.

April 29, appetizer. another oyster with something on it.

April 29, dinner. Palm Restaurant in Las Vegas for the TNC dinner. Some before-dinner bread.

April 29, dinner. More bread. Shouldn't have eaten all that bread. Palm Restaurant, Las Vegas.

April 29, dinner. Shrimp Louis. The shrimp were overcooked, sorry.

April 29, dinner. Salad at Palm Restaurant in Las Vegas. It's a salad. The tomatoes were criminally bad and enormous. Who was watching in the kitchen?

April 29, dinner. Halibut at Palm Restaurant. Well cone. Not overcooked, thank goodness. A bit on the simple side--could have used something else, like some wonderful olive oil. But very precisely prepared. I'm happy.

April 29, dinner. Fried potatoes and onions at the Palm Restaurant, Las Vegas. Not so good.

April 29, dinner. Best dish of the evening, mushrooms as a side dish. Very very good.

April 29, dessert. Some chocolate mousse cake and berries.

April 29, dinner. An espresso macchiato.

April 30, breakfast. Grapefruit Juice.

April 30, snack. A Fast Break.

April 30, lunch. China Grill in Mandalay Bay. Beef Dumplings. I had two; they were delicious.

April 30, lunch. Steak Sandwich at China Grill. Quite nice seasonings on the beef. Fries were also well done. A lot of roll, which I didn't eat any of.

April 30, snack. Another Fast Break.

April 30, snack. Or is that dinner. I think it's dinner.
