May 5, lunch. Some snacks of sausage, cheddar and epoisses cheese, and olives.

May 5, snack. A mint from the Nokia 6133 mint tin. I don't have a 6133, but I do have the mints. I think I picked these up in Singapore a few months back.

May 5, snack. Cocoa beans in chocolate

May 5, snack. Some Comte cheese.

May 5, dinner. Leftover rib, and leftover lasagna from Barbara's enormous house-sized lasagna. Both good.

May 6, breakfast. The usual.

May 6, lunch. A Reuben sandwich and vinegar slaw at Beyond Bread.

May 6, dinner. A salad and 3 ribs.

May 6, dessert. Some chocolate-covered espresso beans.

May 6, late snack. More amaretto chocolate balls from Trader Joe's.

May 7, breakfast. The usual.

May 7, snack. A slice of cheddar cheese with green onions mixed in.

May 7, snack. A lemon bar.

May 7, another snack. A pepsi.

May 7, dinner. Another chopped liver sandwich and fries from Shlomo and Vito's deli. This time I tried the cucumber salad, which was much nicer than the cole slaw.

May 7, dessert. A piece of carrot cake from Shlomo and Vito's deli. This was very good carrot cake. The green bits are, I think, zucchini.

May 7, late night snack. Some Stilton cheese and a bit of 30-year-old Quady port

May 8, breakfast. The usual.

May 8, lunch. Three carne seca enchiladas from Rosa's in Tucson. Very, very good. As always.

May 8, lunch. Chips at Rosa's, along with their very good salsa.

May 8, dinner. At 58 and Holding, we had an appetizer of their fries. They were highly recommended, but, frankly, were just fries. Good fries, but nothing to write home about. The spicy mayo was a nice touch.

May 8, dinner. Lamb chops, asparagus, on a bed of horseradish mashed potatoes at 58 and Holding. Very well done; the presentation a bit tired nowadays, but still tasty all the way around. The asparagus were especially nice.

May 8, dessert. A caffè macchiato with a little too much milk at 58 and Holding.

May 8, dessert. I had one bite of this, their tiramisu.

May 9, breakfast. The usual.

May 9, snack. Some peanuts. I did not eat the cat.

May 9, lunch. Two carnitas tacos and a half of a side order of rice from Nico's Taqueria in Tucson.

May 9, snack. One chocolate-covered espresso bean.

May 9, dinner. Petit sirloin, grilled, along with grilled asparagus. Served with a 1995 Beringer Knight's Valley Reserve Cabernet.

May 9, dessert. It looks like a mess, but it's a piece of cheesecake with some port.
