March 26, breakfast. Iced cappuccino and a blueberry muffin from Raging Sage. The muffins suck.

March 26, lunch. Manchego cheese with apricots, Roma Cacio, salsicce, and a grilled artichoke.

March 26, dinner. At Santa Catalina Villas, from the salad bar. Bean salad, blue cheese, over lettuce.

March 26, dinner. Santa Catalina Villas, shrimp scampi over noodles with baked parsnips and freshly canned corn

March 27, breakfast. Back to scones at Raging Sage. Thank goodness.

March 27, lunch. Rose's olives, bad Safeway olives, sausage, cheeses, some sun-dried tomatos

March 27, dinner. Carne asada burrito from Nico's.

March 28, breakfast. Raging Sage again, this time with the apple upside-down cake. This was not bad, but a scone would have been better.

March 28, lunch. More antipasto plate.

March 28, dinner. Takamatsu, a local sushi joint. Starting with edamame.

March 28, dinner. Sushi at Takamatsu. I ate a third of this: the halibut and mackeral, the tuna, and some of the yellowtail and a bit of the spicy roll.

March 29, breakfast back at home! The usual, with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice from fruit picked from our own trees a few minutes before. Lovely.

March 29, lobster fest. Shrimp. Clams. Deviled eggs. Asparagus. Potatoes. Good wine.

March 29, dinner. And LOBSTERS! From Russ and Katie, bless their hearts!

March 30, breakfast. The usual.

March 30, snack. I brought home some Reese's Eggs from the Easter leftover sale for Jan and she shared them with me for lunch.

March 30, dinner. El Charro Northwest. Start with chips and salsa.

March 30, dinner. Two carne seca enchiladas (rice and beans not shown). Very well done, actually. El Charro Northwest.

March 31, breakfast. The usual.

March 31, dinner. Brenton Elmore came over and we had snacks and antipasto for dinner.

April 1, breakfast. The usual. No fooling.

April 1, lunch. Chicago winds delayed incoming flights so I actually bought food from the Tucson Airport: "Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger." But didn't get to finish it because they called my delayed flight an hour before it was supposed to be delayed (don't worry, you don't have to understand that). Expensive and not that good. I didn't want it Well Done, but they said there was no other way they would make it. Blah.

April 2, breakfast. Sofitels have little French cafes in them, so this is a Cappuccino and Pan Chocolat. Tasty.

April 2, Lunch. A turkey sandwich. Really, not good. But what do you expect for a conference? I didn't eat that apple. It was frightening.

April 2, Dinner. O'Hare Airport, some place in the Food Court. Fish and Chips. Not bad for a food court. Not good for food.

April 2, Snack. I got a chocolate shake for a snack. O'Hare Airport.

April 3, breakfast. Aboard flight from Tucson to San Francisco. Pretzels and a club soda. I want my coffee.

April 3, lunch. Chiles Rellenos. There's a nice little Mexican place in Belmont near 101 on Harbor. The Chiles Rellenos were good.

April 3, Dinner. At Max's in Redwood City. Start with a roll.

April 3, Dinner. Ahhhh. Max's Chopped Liver appetizer. Always good. Always tasty. The grilled & almost carmelized onion is especially nice. Max's is good for what ails you.
