July 18, lunch. Burrito. Nico's. Good.

July 18, snack. Some Ford's Locker's hot-sweet chicken jerky. Ford's is probably the best jerky you can get. A secret I learned from a client. Russell Ford. He's your man.

July 18, dinner. Sushi with Rose. Edamame. At Takamatsu, on Speedway, in Tucson.

July 18, dinner. Takamatsu with Rose. Tuna, salmon, yellowtail. It was all good. A small meal, before picking Jan up at the airport. And getting stranded there when the Jaguar blew up its alternator belt.

July 19, breakfast. The usual.

July 19, lunch. A little bit of carnitas pork, rice, from Nico's, but eaten on our porch. Much nicer than Nico's, which has a bit of a wet poodle smell about it.

July 19, Snack. Went to Don and Barbara's and had some chocolate turtles.

July 19, snack. Two cerignola olives at home, in front of Jan's plumbago.

July 19, dinner. At Yuki Sushi with Jan. Miso soup.

July 19, dinner. At Yuki Sushi. Hamachi. The little red dots are Sriracha (Rooster) sauce. I read an interesting article about that stuff---it's entirely LA native, just inspired by Asia. Not a secret Chinese recipe.

July 19, dinner. At Yuki Sushi. Smoked salmon, and tuna. The salmon could have been cut a little thinner.

July 19, Yuki sushi. Spicy tuna roll. Yum.

July 19, dinner. At Yuki sushi with Jan. Soft shell crab roll. Good.

July 20, breakfast. The usual, but outside on the patio. Beautful day during our monsoon season when it's cool in the mornings after the rains.

July 20, lunch. Salad.

July 20, dinner. Pulled pork. A pulchritudinous meal, with mustard sauce, served on buns, with cole slaw and dill pickles. Very good. I made it.

July 21, breakfast. The usual, plus a horse pill of a multivitamin.

July 21, Lunch. A repeat of dinner the night before. Pulled pork, mustard sauce, grilled asparagus, dill pickles. And some sweet pickles on the side.

July 21, dinner. At Schlomo & Vito's deli. Dill pickles before dinner.

July 21, dinner. Half of a chopped liver sandwich, fries, and cucumber salad. Vito and Schlomo's deli, Tucson. With Jan.

July 22, breakfast. The usual.

July 22, snack. Some pretzels. In the office.

July 22, lunch. Pancho and Beer's, which used to be Taco Bron. I liked the old name better. The menu is the same. Chips, beans, and pico de gallo before.

July 22, lunch. Three tacos "Gobernador" (shrimp, fried in canola butter), rice, and beans, and Pancho and Beer's. Tucson.

July 22, snack. A white peach.

July 22, snack. Some filberts.

July 22, dinner. A salad, at home. With Jan.

July 22, dessert. A date.

July 23, breakfast. The usual.

July 23, snack. Two dates.
