November 23, dinner. At Don & Barbara's with Don, Barbara, Jan, and Dale. Jan's meatloaf and Joel's sprouts and mashed potatoes. Cream! Butter! Yum!


November 23, dessert. Pie.


November 24, breakfast. The usual.


November 24, lunch. Salad of fresh greens, salami.


November 24, snack. Dates. Good nice fat Medjool ones.


November 24, dinner. Joel's Shrimp Vindaloo. On couscous. It looks like a lot, but we ate it nonetheless.


November 24, dessert. Pie over at Don and Barbara's house. While we were making chestnuts.


November 25, breakfast. The usual. Plus fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and a horse-pill vitamin.


November 25, lunch. Carnitas tacos from Nico's. I ate one of these. With Jan and Stoy.


November 25, lunch. Rice and beans from Nico's. With Jan and Stoy.


November 25, dinner. Leftover meatloaf.


November 26, breakfast. The usual.


November 26, lunch. Salads at home with Jan. Greens from the garden.


November 26, snack. A date.


November 26, dinner. Sauteed chard stalks (leftover from Jan making Thanksgiving chard stuffing) and some leftover meatloaf.


November 26, dessert. Ice cream, two kinds, over at Don & Barbara's with Jan.


November 27, breakfast. The usual, a vitamin, and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.


November 27, lunch. Cheese and prosciutto grilled sandwiches and sweet pickles. With mom at home. Thanksgiving Day.


November 27, appetizer. Stuffed baby pumpkins, with ground beef and pork, mushrooms, rice, and seasonings.


November 27, Thanksgiving Dinner. Turkey, cranberry sauce, thyme-scented mashed potatoes with carmelized onions, Brussels sprouts with chestnuts, Italian chard stuffing. And a piece of Dale's Chile Cheese Cornbread.


November 27, dessert. Joseph Schmidt Turkey Shaped dark chocolate truffle.


November 27, dessert. Barbara's Pumpkin Streusel pie, with whipped cream on top


November 28, breakfast. The usual. Wanda is going for milk fuzz.


November 28, lunch. A shaved beef sandwich.


November 28th, dinner. Leftover Thanksgiving dinner.


November 28, snack. Two dates. On a date-palm inspired paper towel. Cute, huh?


November 29, breakfast. The usual.


November 29, breakfast. I had a bite of this. This was a scrambled egg, filled with the filling from the pumpkins that we made at Thanksgiving, rolled up and stuffed back into the pumpkin. Just a post-Thanksgiving whimsey, but it was tasty. This was mostly Jan's breakfast.


November 29, lunch. Half of a pastrami and corned beef sandwich from Shlomo & Vito's deli in Tucson, with Jan and Mom.
