May 29, lunch. A roll, aboard flight from Gatwick to Atlanta.

May 29, lunch. Not bad for airline food. Hummus (good); prosciutto with some salad (prosciutto was good; salad was not); and a caprese that had moments of good cheese and bad tomato. Overall tasty.

May 29, lunch. Cheese plate. As usual, weak on the cheese, mostly because it was all too cold and too innocuous. The usual Delta combination of Comte, Blue, and Cheddar. In this case, though, the strawberries and grapes were very, very good.

May 29, late lunch. Salad of sliced beef over greens, grissini, and some fruit. The salad was a lose, although some bright spot did remember to put blue cheese under the beef, which made it edible. The greens & corn were a complete loss. Aboard flight Gatwick to Atlanta.

May 29, snack. Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Chocolate. Of course.

May 29, lunch. At Rigo's Restaurant, some chips and salsa.

May 29, lunch. Rigo's Restaurant (Tucson) Tortilla Soup. Everything at Rigo's is good (except for the iced tea).

May 30, breakfast. The usual.

May 30, lunch. A Sundown sandwich from Baggins. This is a sandwich designed after Thanksgiving Dinner leftovers: turkey, stuffing, cranberry. Plus Baggins always gives you a little chocolate chip cookie.

May 30, snack. Some pretzel sticks.

May 30, dinner. Zemam's Ethiopian food. Probably Cliquot champagne.

May 31, breakfast. The usual.

May 31, lunch. Carnitas special from Nico's. This is like two Carnitas tacos, except they give it to you in a plate (sort of) and tortillas on the side. Plus, you get both rice and beans. It's a little more food than two tacos and a side of rice, but costs about the same. And it's just as good.

May 31, snack. Some potato sticks and a fresh strawberry daquiri.

May 31, dinner. A salad.

June 1, breakfast. The usual, including freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

June 1, lunch. Salad of meats, cheese, and other refrigerator things.

June 1, appetizers. Marcona almonds, chipotle-stuffed olives, and potato sticks. It's Sunday, after all.

June 1, dinner. Joel's BBQ ribs, cole slaw. Some Yellowtail wine in the background.

June 1, dinner. Potatoes. Grill-charred with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic infusion. I worked hard to get those tastes onto those potatoes, and I'm still not satisfied. I think these red bliss potatoes are just not the right ones. I'm going to try something else next time.

June 1, dessert. Barbara Trumbo's strawberry pie. Fresh strawberries in profusion, yum!

June 2, breakfast. Very early morning, taking Jan to airport. The usual.

June 2, lunch. Leftover ribs, leftover potatoes, and leftover cole slaw. Fresh drink.

June 2, dinner. Some Cerignola olives, sliced sausage, and Cheddar and Comte cheeses.

June 3, breakfast. A scone (blueberry) and iced cappuccino from Raging Sage in Tucson.

June 3, snack. Shouldn't have had them, but three pretzel sticks.

June 3, lunch. Ribs, potatoes, cole slaw.

June 3, snack. yet another pretzel stick.

June 3, dinner. A chile relleno burrito. I did not eat the cat, or share the burrito.

June 4, breakfast. Apricot scone and iced cappuccino at Raging Sage.
